Portrait of a Graduate

We believe that our students should live out our mission statement well beyond their school-age years. It is with wholehearted trust in the transformative power of the Gospel that we hope our students will do so. This means our students graduate knowing truth, practicing goodness, and recognizing beauty because they are frequently exposed to these ideals and are given the opportunity to live them out while at Anthem Classical Academy. Our aspiration is for students to mature into people who can think well, speak well, and love well. They will be marked by:

Hope in God’s Redemptive Work:

  • Because our students are well versed in God’s plan throughout history, they will be confident in hope for the future Kingdom that God is orchestrating for those who trust in Him.

  • Our students understand the importance of the Gospel in their lives and look for ways to participate in God’s work in their communities, their homes, their careers, and whatever sphere of influence they will find themselves.

Steadfastness in Truth:

  • Our students interact charitably and adeptly with the world and its ideas. Our students recognize that they may sometimes be mistaken about their own positions, and they ultimately recognize God as the source and illuminator of all truth.

  • Our students are truth seekers, understanding the role that both faith and reason play in that pursuit.

  • Our students are known by others for being courageous to do what is just, true, and honorable.

Growth in Wisdom and Excellence

  • Our students know that the pursuit of wisdom never ends, so they commit to a life of wonder and learning.

  • Our students see the liberal arts as foundational to living well.

  • Our students understand that their hearts are restless until they find their rest in God, so they intentionally seek true happiness in the everlasting values of virtue and wisdom over earthly happiness.

Charity in Service

  • Our students define leadership as service, not self-aggrandizement. They lead like Christ, who served those around Him with truth and grace.

  • Our students are respected by their neighbors because they love them as themselves.

  • Our students extend the same charity to their neighbors who do not respect them.
